Thimbleby Estate announces partnership with Roxton’s for Simulated Game Days
Thimbleby Estate has announced an exciting new partnership with leading sporting agency Roxton’s to manage and promote its Simulated Game Days for the 2026 season.
Set within the stunning landscape of the North York Moors National Park, Thimbleby Estate’s Simulated Game Days take place across the estate’s varied terrain of moorland, farmland and forestry, offering a series of drives designed to recreate the excitement and challenge of a traditional driven shoot, developing a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting venues for simulated game shooting. The collaboration with Roxton’s will further enhance the estate’s offering by bringing together Thimbleby’s exceptional terrain, hospitality and sporting infrastructure with Roxtons’ renowned expertise in delivering premium sporting experiences.
Founded in the 1970s and based in Hungerford, Berkshire, Roxton’s is one of the UK’s leading sporting agencies, well known for organising and facilitating high-quality sporting opportunities for clients across the country and internationally. Their reputation within the fieldsports world and extensive network of sporting clients will help introduce more guns to the simulated shooting available at Thimbleby.
Parties of between ten and eighteen guns shoot clay targets that simulate traditional game shooting, with drives carefully positioned to make full use of the estate’s natural contours and landscape. Throughout the day guests can expect thrilling shooting, warm Yorkshire hospitality and the camaraderie that makes a day in the field so memorable.
Guests are provided with all the trappings of a traditional game day, including first-class hospitality from start to finish, together with unlimited clays and cartridges.
Through the new partnership, Roxtons will work closely with the Thimbleby team to help manage guest experiences and introduce their clients to simulated shooting on the estate.
Their experience within the sporting world, combined with Thimbleby’s established reputation for delivering enjoyable and well-run shooting days, will ensure guests enjoy a memorable day.
Andrew Shelley, Director of Thimbleby Estate, said:
“We are delighted to be partnering with Roxton’s for our 2026 simulated game days. Their reputation in the sporting world is second to none, and we believe this collaboration will elevate the experience we offer our guests.
Our aim at Thimbleby has always been to deliver days that combine challenging sport, beautiful surroundings, and warm Yorkshire hospitality.”
Under the new partnership, Roxton’s will oversee booking and client management for the simulated days, helping to bring the estate to a wider audience of sporting clients both in the UK and internationally.
