We know not everyone in your group may be into shooting, so that’s exactly why we’ve introduced our latest group experience.
Our archery and axe throwing experience brings a little friendly competition to the estate, combining two activities into one relaxed experience. Set against the North Yorkshire countryside, it’s an opportunity to try something new, test your aim and see who can come out on top.
Available for groups of 10 or more, the experience is particularly well suited to corporate away days, team get-togethers, celebrations and larger groups looking for something different.

Clay Shooting at Thimbleby
Clay shooting has been at the heart of Thimbleby since 1988 and remains one of our most popular group experiences.
Whether you’re completely new to shooting or already have experience, our qualified instructors tailor the session to the group, helping everyone get involved and make the most of their time on the ground.
You’ll experience a variety of stands across the shooting ground, developing new skills along the way before finishing with a little friendly competition.

Simulated Game Days on the Thimbleby Estate
For groups looking for something more immersive, our simulated game days offer a full day of shooting across the Thimbleby Estate.
Set across our 3,000-acre North Yorkshire estate, simulated game days recreate the experience and atmosphere of a traditional driven game day, with a selection of challenging driven stands set amongst the estate’s varied countryside.
The experience is complemented by estate hospitality, making it particularly suited to entertaining clients, celebrating special occasions or bringing together a group of experienced shooters.
